The business. Technicians never buy anything and are never charged. Standard message and data rates from their own carrier may apply.

Up to about 1 message per day, per enrolled trade.
Opt out
A technician replies STOP at any time. Honored immediately, no questions.

Tailgate is a recurring SMS program, so consent is collected in two separate, explicit steps. Buying Tailgate does not send anyone a message. Nothing is sent to any technician until that technician personally replies YES.

You confirm you have your crew's permission

Business owner

After purchase, you fill out the Tailgate crew-setup form: your trades, and each technician's name and mobile number. Before you can submit it, you must tick this required consent box. It starts empty — nothing is pre-checked.

Each technician opts in for themselves

After you buy: you'll be sent to the Tailgate crew-setup form to enter your trades and your crew, and to give the consent confirmation above. Your plan tier sets how many technicians you can enroll; each technician's own YES reply is what actually starts their texts.

Tailgate and Fishtape are separate

Tailgate is its own product. It does not require Fishtape, and buying Fishtape does not enroll anyone in Tailgate. Both are built and operated by Code Carl Software LLC — see About.
